Oil life monitor/Oil change reminder. Recently my Focus started displaying the message "engine oil change due" on startup. However, it has only been a little over 4000 miles since my last oil change. I read on the forum that the oil life monitor only estimates oil life based on mileage and driving habits. The car is at about 58000 miles, and Hi guys, I bought a MK4 focus a few months back & I downloaded the FordPass app. I noticed after a month the oil Life indicator on the app was at 15% so I arranged a service at a Ford dealer.
